BTW, CG is celebrating Dame Elton John's 60th B-day by playing him once an hour.  "Part Time Love" sounds good right now.

the requests on CG have been exceptional today, so far. FYC, "Johnny Come Home". Almost makes up for the lack of KPOO (which still pisses me off: I can get KPOO on my home computer, but not at work; I can get CG at work but not at home. WTF?)

Tuned in WLNG earlier than I usually do, and turns out Tuesday is Bob Shannon's "Behind the Hits" day.  He's playing a megamix of Greg Kihn's "Jeopardy" and Weird Al's "(I Lost on) Jeopardy", with a cameo appearance by Don Pardo!  "You're a LOOOOSER!!"

All of this was in honor of the 3-way-tie on Jeopardy. And because the winning question involved Bonnie & Clyde, we get Georgie Fame's "Ballad of B&C"!

CGSS plays Richie Havens, zippin' up his boots (leather, no doubt) and goin' back to his roots. A great cover of Lamont Dozier (later done by Odyysey).  Preach it, Sistah Havens!
