At least we start with a fairly uncommon Wilburys song, Jeff Lynne having taken his entire vocal approach from George Harrison. Then it's Militia Etheridge: bring her some water OR ELSE

BOS Zevon, "Reconsider Me", from the GREAT, forgotten LP Sentimental Hygiene.  Bless you, Rob!

Traveling Wilburys - Heading For The Light
Melissa Etheridge - Bring Me Some Water
Little Feat - Let It Roll
Treat Her Right - I Think She Likes Me
Cheap Trick - The Flame
Smithereens - Drown In My Own Tears
Sugarcubes - Birthday
U2 - Desire
Warren Zevon - Reconsider Me
Pursuit Of Happiness - I'm An Adult Now

Now *that* is a fine '88 set IMHO -- very representative of what I was hearing on the radio at the time, and the only dud (which I'm glad I missed) is Cheap Diane Warren Trick.
