Sorry I missed a great TOTHC: Pet Shop Boys, "Opportunities".
Woke up too late for it, but that's my BOS. Although it has one grammatical error: "Ask yourself this question: Do you want to be rich?" should really be, "Do *I* want to be rich," no?

OMG, Ms Lauper shows her "True Colors" -- BOS2
-
HM to Cyndi's "True Colors," still a pretty song even after its co-opting by Phil Collins and Kodak. Would love to hear the forgotten No. 2 hot follow-up, "Change of Heart," someday in a 1987 set (I haven't heard the song since its chart run).

Love that disembodied coke-synth opening to RP's "Didn't Mean to Turn You On."
-
BOS3 REM "Superman" -- I'd love to hear the original of this, by Clique, the late-'60s group that had a hit with Tommy James' "Sugar on Sunday".
and now BOS4: Robert Palmer showing impeccable taste in R&B covers, as always, with "I Didn't Mean to Turn You On".

and we close with T.Heads' little-heard "City of Dreams". I winced when I first tuned in at 7:10 and heard the Smithereens -- I'd been hoping for an older set -- but this has been my-t-fine.
Pet Shop Boys - Opportunities
Steve Winwood - Higher Love
Smithereens - Behind The Wall Of Sleep
Ric Ocasek - Emotion In Motion
Paul Simon - You Can Call Me Al
Oingo Boingo - Not My Slave
Cyndi Lauper - True Colors
REM - Superman
Robert Palmer - I Didn't Mean to Turn You On
Talking Heads - City Of Dreams
