Title: The Peak, 11/20/06: It's 1968

Heard clips of RFK's shooting, perhaps inspired by the new Estevez pic.

Got a familiar but fab one-two punch to open -- "Alone Again Or" and "America" -- followed by a certifiable OMG, the Electric Flag's "Groovin' Is Easy."  I was introduced to that song (and band) by a former Schwab colleague who had interesting stories but had too many junk problems for me to want to hear them. (Mark, I'm sure you knew her.)

Followed by taking the Magic Bus to Love Street.

Sly takes high, but a clip from the Yellow Submarine film leads disappointingly into "I Will" (not a bad song at all, just not my idea of segue, especially not on a Monday).

Which apparently is just awful, per most of the reviews I've seen.

Arrived in time for Stay-tus Quo.

was that the theme from The Good Guys?  I haven't thought of that sitcom in ages.  Lasted less than 2 seasons, a "wacky" buddy comedy with Herb Edelman and Bob Denver (in his first post-Gilligan) role.

Buf Springfield (?) with Stills singing some lyrics he later recycled in CSN.
