I really like this song the more I hear it in these later years.  BOS from me too.

As I said earlier, the country version by Don Williams is SO much better.

Why has Paul Davis been so thoroughly forgotten?  I've not heard a single one of his hits in its entirety since the mid '80s.  "I Go Crazy" was great!  And so were "Cool Night" and "'65 Love Affair"!  Harrumph.
