I'll be shocked if Sting and Huey don't make appearances.

The song itself is fine. But it always evokes the image of him as the Mad Hatter -- the epitome (to me) of overblown visuals-for-visuals-sake Mid-'80s MTV.

Now here's a BOS I can get behind, "Secondhand Love".

BOS3 Fogerty.

First time I heard this it was Dec '84 and I was waking up in a hotel room in Charleston, WV. I figured it was a CCR song I'd never heard, and thought "damn, it's true -- West Virginia really IS in a time warp."

I love his guitar work on this, but his vocals leave a little to be desired.

in what way? his diction? LOL!

Seriously, he doesn't sound any different to me on this than on any CCR songs.

i've always felt this version represented this particular california girl better than the original. maybe it was the chicks in the video...or the fact that there *was* a video to this song. :) maybe it's just the percussion.

gosh, i thought we were going to get aerosmith there for a minute with those big bad joey drums. but it's "radioactive." who is singing this song? is it paul rogers?

answered my own question. i never thought this was a bad company song, for some reason. weird. paul roDgers also plays the guitar (biting from fripp) in that song.

Those were chicks?

Seriously, I thought they were transformers!  More.Than.Meets.The.Eye

They make for a nice bookend with Elton's "I'm Still Standing," at any mileage.

John Mellencamp  Rain on the Scarecrow   12.6%
Tears For Fears   Shout   11.7%
Tom Petty & Heartbreakers   Don't Come Around Here No More   9.9%
Pete Townshend   Second Hand Love   3.6%
John Fogerty   The Old Man Down the Road   9.0%
Simple Minds   Alive & Kicking   16.2%
David Lee Roth   California Girls   4.5%
The Firm   Radioactive   20.7%
Sting   If You Love Somebody Set Them Free   6.3%
David Bowie   This is Not America   5.4%

The Firm takes it -- guess they were "distractive" enough to win.
