I'm betting this will be more interesting than Bob's set.
and lo: Bob Seger, "Beautiful Loser".
-
and lo, part 2: Dylan, "Buckets of Rain". BOS1.

Well Tune #2 makes this already the best 1975 set in a while. My favorite Dylan tune & one I never expected to ever hear on the radio.

BOS2 Woody & Diane in Love & Death
BOS3 Tommy Bolin, "Teaser".

So how's it feel to be older now? It recently occurred to me that with my next birthday I can no longer claim to be in my ealry 40's.

Let me guess, you're gonna say "Still Crazy After All These Years"!
Ha Ha!, great timing from Ginger.

OK, I do have to BOS4 Mr Simon.
-
BOS5! Bonnie, "What Do You Want the Boy to Do?"

Mr. Simon is coming to town soon.
-
BOS5! Bonnie, "What Do You Want the Boy to Do?"
an Allen Touissaint song, iirc -- Boz did it as "... the Girl..", no?

Man, I am so pissed off at work right now, I feel I'll do some damage any second now. I just called my wife & said, "I know it's just not feasible, but if there were any way that it was, I would quit right now."
Oooh, nice soothing music, BOS #5 "Crystal".
-
Well, "Sugar Daddy" was more rare. But "Crystal" is prettier.

Deep breaths, bub. Deep breaths.

Settle down. Work harder to make a move. Smile nice to everyone at work and make them wonder what's wrong. DRINK at lunch. Really eases the pain.

I am really loving this set, another BOS to Joe Walsh, "Time Out".
Which is what I need to give myself right now.
-
Thanks for the reassurances guys!

"Turn to Stone", actually. But we don't want you to do THAT.

Only your cow-orkers.

this Crosby/Nash tune is another relative rarity -- BOS6, and no surprise that Ginger wins this matchup hands down.
-
BOS Carry Me. Dave NEVER plays this.

I called in to compliment the set. She says she has a hard time with this year. She has nothing to worry about.

Dave ever played this Beck?

actually these lyrics are quite relevant (except the 'turn to stone' part):
Hey now the well run dry
Pages of the book on fire
Read the writing ...on the wall...
Hoedown, say showdown
Everywhere you look
they're fighting...Hear the call...
And you know its getting stronger,
It can't last very much longer
Turn to stone
Well there's a change in the wind
You know the signs don't lie
Such a strange feeling and I don't know why
Its takin' ... such a long time ...
Backyard people and they work all day
Tired of the speeches
And the way the reasons they keep changin'...
Just to make the Words Rhyme...
And you know its getting stronger,
Can't fake 'em out much longer
Turn to stone
And you know its getting stronger,
It can't last very much longer
Turn to stone

I'm sure it's been in a Strictly Instrumental -- it's Rod's fave, he always BOS's it. So: Proxy of Rod and one from me too. A fab set all around.
-
Another BOS, Squeeze Box.

I called her too, and told her that she had single-handedly saved me from a miserable morning.
