last week's '84 set was one of Bob's best '80s excursions ever -- hope his vacay replacement can continue the streak (he's been excellent all week so far).
-
all the girls crazy 'bout a sharp TOTHC!
-
Loggy and his Big Percy, er, I mean Percy and his Big Log. BOS.
-
Noooooooooooooooooo! I'd say "Domo origato" if they hadn't played "Mr Roboto". I am the mod-rin man!
-
BOS2 REM, "RFE"
-
BOS3 Stones, "She Was Hot" -- haven't heard this in ages. Memories of the video with the late great Anita Morris.
-
Yikes. Journey when they were... even worse.

VHM Tom Cruise, havin' a party tonite for a rockin' Rebecca de Mornay.
-
I guess that qualifies as a fairly clever segue: "As far as the house goes, just use your best judgment. You know we trust you, Joel." into "...we're gonna have a party tonight."
-
wow THREE really bad cheeze-rock "classics" in one set. WOS Night Ranger, I know some remember it fondly, but jeezus what an awful song.
-
VHM Nightranger, but really only because I bumped into Brad Gillis (literally) at my chiropractor once last year.

Of the three this one is the most palatable for me. Really glad I missed the Styx earlier. Interesting that the REM & Billy Idol is the closest thing to an actual New Wave song to make the set even though that's what dominated radio & especially MTV this year.
