What's this following the Enigma?  It sounds like the Dead, definitely a jam band of some stripe; maybe Phish.  Phuckin' annoying.

Is "Four Seasons in One Day" (title?) Crowded House?  Quite lovely, if one can escape a visceral negative reaction to Neil Finn's voice after his years of Katrina status across America.

See, I don't hate Crowded House if it's not the biggest Katrina in the world.  This "Four Seasons In One Day" is new to me & sounding quite nice.

Widespread Panic.  Not so much annoying as ignorable for me.

FYI, it's John Lee Hooker.  Ya either get it or ya don't.  And I will admit there's a certain sameness to all blues, but some folks find that comforting, I guess.

Don't think this displeasure is a guilty one.  This might not be the most unnecessary cover of all time, but it makes the lower half of the list for sure.

I guess I had the impression that some folks (including some here) really like it.

This isn't bringing 1991 back to me... but then I wasn't that in touch with the pop charts in '91.  No chance of Ginger playing LLCoolJ's "Round the Way Girl", I guess.

WTF was that kiddie-voice clip?

This has been quite the snooze-fest for me, and that doesn't happen with Ginger very often.

But Chrissie/Moodswings saves the day!! BOS.

Yep, it's on their Woodface album (the same one that gave us Chocolate Cake, but don't hold that against it). Probably my fave of the entire CH catalog, and the only one to feature both Neil and Tim Finn.

Speaking of whom, I picked up a live Split Enz album when I was in Portland a week or so ago, recorded during a reunion tour of New Zealand in '93. I had no idea they'd even done such a tour. Nice record, tho, good selection of tunes, including Message to My Girl, and not including I Got You.
