moved over from the end of the previous thread, re: KRSH:
a relaxed pleasure to listen, without the sense of elevator music. e.g. a Putomayo daily track followed by ABB's Melissa, then NRPS Glendale Train!
the NRPS was a nice surprise; I owned that album on cassette back in the day.
KRSH is kinda like KPIG without the politics, tho' it doesn't sound especially "free-form" to me.

It's different from KPIG, but compared to the rest of the universe...
I haven't heard Charlie Musslewhite anywhere but KPIG until today on KRSH.

another nice KRSH surprise: Beatles, "Old Brown Shoe".

It's a Gilbert O-fest on WLNG. Earlier, "Get Down", and now the lovely forgotten "Out of the Question".

Just tuned in, the first three songs I heard were KFOG staples: Train in Vain, Paul Simon's Late in the Evening, and Jackie Greene's latest single.
The one after that was something about a Petrified Man, never heard it before, but sounds like one of KPIG's novelty-esque tunes.

It's more to the KFOG side of KPIG, but definitely not KFOG. B. B. King singing "Everyday I have the blues" right now. We wouldn't hear it on KFOG unless it was in the 5:00 Blues ghetto.

indeed, I'd wager they play more blues than KFOG and KPIG combined.

WLNG Nuggets o'the Day: "Shake It", Ian Matthews, followed by "I Knew You When", Billy Joe Royal.
