Title: KFOG's president's day programming
Post by: urth on February 10, 2005, 05:39:38 PM
They're taking a poll to see what people want to hear on President's Day, since the entire staff save a couple of engineers will be taking the day off.

Here's the standings so far:

Beatles A to Z: nothing but The Beatles...in alphabetical order  38%
All Archives: exclusive, live KFOG archives tracks, all day long  20%
Rock of Ages: '60s, '70s, '80s, '90s and Now - song by song  23%
Acoustic Sunrise: an expanded version of KFOG's mellow Sunday music  19%

Well, I'd vote for 10 10@10's...  but given the choices, Beatles A-Z is probably the only one they haven't done lately.  KFOG A-Z should be coming up soon, too, no?

It's the 21st... I would think schools are closed.

I'm sure schools are closed.  I have the day off from the Voice but not from my day job.  I think my choice would be for the extended Acoustic Sunrise, just because I never manage to hear the weekly show and I do miss it.

I'm sure schools are closed. .
from the sfsu website calendar: Washington's Birthday Holiday: Classes Held; Offices Open.

But we are closed on Cesar Chavez day.

Funny thing, all my classes are one day a week, and I feel cheated a little by having a holiday trump a significant percentage of my opportunity to get my money's worth out of my tuition!
