I'm late to the party; tail end of "Overture/It's a Boy" followed by Rare Earth's "Get Ready" which I guess was a late-'69 release.

Since it's Administrative Professionals Day, he should play "Take a Letter, Maria." Or better yet, "Take the day off, Maria."
-
BOS Stones "Monkey Man". I could use a lemon squeezer!
-

-
OMGWTFLOL BOS3: Neil Diamond, "Holly Holy" Sing it strong!

I would LOVE to hear "TALM"!
VHM Spirit, they've got a line. Or they're doing lines. Or something.

Dang, bad day to get in late. Just got here in time for the fadeout.
Oooh, but just in time for the Banana Splits!
ETA: I found the lyrics!
One banana, two banana, three banana, four
Four bananas make a bunch and so do many more.
Over hill and highway the banana buggies go
Coming on to bring you the Banana Splits Show
Four banana, three banana, two bananas, one
All bananas playing in the bright warm sun,
Flipping like a pancake, popping like a cork,
Fleagle, Bingo, Drooper and Snork
-
And now "One"! Fits my mood perfectly.

VHM 3DN and also "No Time" -- we started with the 'oo and ended with the Guess 'oo!

You ever hear that 70's update of "Who's On First" with a concert promoter trying to set up a marquee of The Who, The Guess Who & Yes"?
-
Livin' like a pancake, poppin' like a cork...
Is that the line? I never knew.
How does one "live like a pancake"? Do they flip, Wilson?

Yes -- you do know who did that, don'cha?
A comedy group called the Credibility Gap, who made several LPs and did radio stuff in LA. They consisted of none other than Michael McKean and David L. Lander (aka Laverne & Shirley's Lenny & Squiggy) and the great Harry Shearer. I have some old stuff of theirs -- I'll have to bring it to the next get-together. Brilliant, they were.

I remembered the personnel, as they all appear in Spinal Tap, but forgot what they called themselves. Been 20 years since I heard that, at least.
