Wow, that's a rocking tune from the Allmans that for some reason you don't hear much.

Oooh, and now my absolute favorite Stevie song.  3 BOS votes already.

BOS Stevie, "I Believe When I Fall in Love".  Nicest surprise of the week so far.

VHM early Bonnie.  This always sounds like the Allmans' "Pony Boy" to me -- didn't she cover that later on?

Some honky tonkin' Bonnie, on top of the Dr. John, we've got a real Nawlins flavor going today.

But the KBCO just played feature seems to have skipped the Allmans tune & I can't remember the name of it.

I always knew WDRV likes this song, but didn't expect Ginger to pull it out of her hat today, so BOS #9 for "Free Four".

indeed, that's 2 she's sharing with Bob's set from last week.  I don't ever remember hearing this on the radio in '72 -- and I listened to a LOT of progressive/free-form FM.  But I'm lovin' it now.

Nope, as we now know, but while checking up on it I learned something extraordinary.  Without looking, and within 15 places, guess where this peaked on Billboard?

"L&H"?  Somewhere in the 90s, like #92 or 3?

Well, you're within 15, but try Pop #104!  It was #92 on the 'Black Singles' chart.  In other words they just didn't think they should release another single & didn't promote it.
