VHM Pretenders,  best of a Katrinish lot so far. It's a Morey Monday, all right.

Of course, we're (presumably) getting 2 theme sets this week, so the "regular" sets shouldn't be very creative, if experience is any guide.

and as if on cue, here's "Magnificent 7", virtually the only track from Sandinista Dave ever plays.  Sounds pretty lame to me after hearing "Washington Bullets" earlier.

Ginger hit this album this morning in a 1980 set...

OMG! BOS Clash, "Washington Bullets". Sandinista, an LP inexplicably not on Dave's radar.

...and I was going to reply that Mike was right with the exception of "Magnificent Seven", and now here ya go...

I love it when that happens!

Proxy BOS for Gaz (though it's another Katrina to me): Frankie and the Knockouts, "Sweetheart", a great McDoobs knockoff.

BOS smooth Smokey, "Being With You" -- is this a breakout?  If so, about time.  This set needed some soul, and this is the best we're gonna get, methinks.

Wow, I was caught up in work email & had mentally tuned out the radio until I saw your post.  Suddenly I snapped out of it & said to myself, "Yay! Smokey!"

Bonus -- Kinks, "Better Things", a better thing than anything in the set (well, except Smokey).
