This set isn't working for me; WOS to the Floyd, though it did give me the opp to do a load of dishes without missing anything.

Mr Crankypants needs some cheeze for breakfast.

And here it comes! Ian Thomas, "Painted Ladies"! BOS! A forgotten gem.

I'll ditto that; I like his Painted Ladies better than Elton's.  Extra trivia: Ian's the brother of SCTV's Dave Thomas.

Blinded by the BOS3, as Bruce pumps his way into his hat. That'll make you go blind, all right.

A long set: It's 11:39 EST and we're only on tune #8 unless I lost count.

BOS to Elton's "Harmony," a perfect Tune No. 10.  This wasn't a single, was it?  Say hello, hello.

Oof, I counted right the first time.  "Harmony" still sounds better as a set closer.  Instead, we get a repeat of "5:15."

I always thought MCA f***ed up, singles-wise, re: GYBR.  I thought this woulda been perfect, but "Bennie..." (one of my least-fave EJ songs) was released instead. Of course it was HUGE, so whatthehell do I know?

But then there were so many great cuts, and if it had been the MTV, 5-or-6-singles-per-LP era, he could've gone for two years. But Caribou awaited us.
