Oops, I was late, I guess -- missed "99 Luftbaloons". We'll never know if she played the German or the English version.

SRV "Couldn't Stand The Weather"sounding good this stormy morning, although traffic jams notwithstanding, I kinda feel like this is what March weather is supposed to be like.

BOS #3, Aztec Camera.  With one of my favorite couplets ever:

It's like a mystery that never ends,
I hear you crying and I want to kill your fiends.

as usual, any of those "cheeze medley" songs woulda been welcome in their entirety.

VHM Bruce, singing the song Donna Summer turned down.

Best. Springsteen. Clones. EVAH.

I have an indie 45 of them doing "Wild Summer Nights" from '82 or '83. Great song.

Good fiends are hard to find.

But yeah, great line.

Got a 10am meeting today, so this Morey-iffic set will have to suffice for me today, at least til 10 tonight. Hoping you guys get a good set. I'm feelin' 1979...

Hrm... Ginger plays this Bruce Cockburn song in '84, and Dave played it yesterday as '85. On the cusp?

Ginger doesn't probably oveplay this Bruce Cockburn track like Dave does, but most of all she gets credit for playing it in the correct year.

I sure wish either of them would play "Dust & Diesel" from this album.

The only single that nipped the charts was a bit of a straddler, but it was a late summer release in '84.  I bought it when it first came out.

1984  If I Had a Rocket Launcher - Mainstream Rock Tracks #16
1985  If I Had a Rocket Launcher - The Billboard Hot 100 #88
