Wanted some PI songs for 3.14, but only Kate Bush bothered to write one. So we get 1994 instead. Mostly predictable, but Blues Traveler's "Run-Around" did succeed in transporting me back to Senior Week parties with kegs of cheap beer everywhere and some true lovelies playing volleyball shirtless on the Fiji lawn.

Oh, what the hell: BOS to a guilty-ish pleasure, Urge Overkill's carbon-copy take on "Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon." Very effective, and that faint harpsichord/glockenspiel/whatever before the final refrain was a great production touch.

I wouldn't rule out a "numbers" set by Dave for "Pi day"
Arrived in time for Urge Overkill's Neil D. cover. Followed, unfortunately, by DMB.
-
Well, I'd never heard that DM number before, so there was at least some novelty.
Jewel was '94 with "Who Will Save Your Soul"? I know it took a long time for it to take off, but I'm pretty sure I was hearing this mostly in the spring of 1996.
Anyway:
