Didn't know such sublime fretwork could put you to sleep, but it's a shame if you don't like that.

Sorry, I love early-'70s Dead, but this stuff truly bores me. It's just stoner noodling as far as I'm concerned. So sue me. And the Police aren't exactly waking me up either.

But BOS "Me Myself I"! Rockin' black dykes RULE!

Althea doesn't hit me like "stoner noodling." It affects my sense of lovely. Police can just fall off the face of the earth, IMHO.

Who was it that was loving Joan Armatrading earlier?  This has got to be the most unexpected track of the week, if not month.

Mighta been me -- she was very big on NYC FM rock stations.  Great story about how she was "outed" by the Brit tabloids for having an affair with a (white) BBC newswoman. Within months the newswoman was married off to the head of the BBC News division.

BOS 3 Pretenders, "Kid", copping a riff from "More". One of their best, and oddly, one Dave hardly ever plays.

That was a sweet Marley tune that I wasn't familiar with.  If you didn't hear Ginger's intro, they have a lot of snow in Boulder today, so "Coming In From the Cold" is apropo.

OMG! Tom Waits orig of "Jersey Girl"!  BOS4; between this and the Armatrading, Ginger has easily topped any 1980 set in months.

Agreed, as long as you give her props for the Marley, too.  Razsty would have been pleased.

VHM Bowie, "Ashes to ash and funk to funky/We know Major Tom's a junkie".  One of my favorite couplets ever.

agreed, and the Elvis C and Pretenders tracks were great too.  Too bad 'BCO doesn't do a PM replay.

a note from Ginger:

I always enjoy your feedback on the show.
Sometimes I'll be playing a particular song and I'll ask myself
"what will the 10 at 10 Club think about this one?"  True!
