Winwood's "Semen Overspill" followed by a commercial for Blue Velvet, one of the most overrated films of that decade.
Mr Byrne saves the day with "Wild Wild Life", from another movie I didn't especially like.
-
these are the days of miracles and BOSs: Mr Simon, "Boy in the Bubble".
-
BOS2: HoJo, "No One Is to Blame"

BOS2: HoJo, "No One Is to Blame"
Seconding the BOS. Always loved the song, and though the lyrics are cryptic, I always interpreted it to be a show of sympathy/solidarity for two lesbians buckling under forbidden love.
And I've gotten quite about enough of Peter Gabriel's big fat head this week.
-
OMG! XTC from the brilliant Skylarking, "Things We Did on Grass". BOS3
-
Anytime I hear those opening notes to "Every Little Kiss," I mistakenly think it's a Christmas song. What was the song that preceded it?
-
"Get away from her, you BITCH!!!" VHM Sigourney.
And if it must be Bruce Hornsby, at least it ain't "The Way it Is". This is the best '86 set of the 3 we've heard this week.
-
VHM INXS, "Kiss the Dirt". Which Mr Hutchence actually did a few years later.
-
FREEDOM OVERSPILL - STEVE WINWOOD
WILD WILD LIFE - TALKING HEADS
BOY IN THE BUBBLE - PAUL SIMON
NO ONE IS TO BLAME - HOWARD JONES
BIG TIME - PETER GABRIEL
DANCIN' IN THE RUINS - BLUE OYSTER CULT
GRASS - XTC
EVERY LITTLE KISS - BRUCE HORNSBY & THE RANGE
KISS THE DIRT (FALLING DOWN THE MOUNTAIN) - INXS
FOR AMERICA - JACKSON BROWNE
Not bad... not bad at all.

That's a pretty fine set, the BOC, XTC & INXS are all treasures. I forget, does The Peak replay at 10:pm?

Yes indeed they do!
