WOS to Devo, "Satisfaction."  Love several of their originals, but I just don't "get" their covers.

OMG! BOS Devo's "Satisfaction".  A *HUGE* FM radio track in NYC at the time, I have heard it maybe once or twice in 15 years in SF.

OK we had the "maybe" vs. "Baby" debate last time Ginger played this. The lyric sites tend to give "baby" the edge.

Wow, "Satisfaction" followed by "The Girl with The Far Away Eyes"

"You know you always have the Lord by your side"
And I was so pleased to be informed of this
that I ran 20 redlights in his honor.

I've never heard this Stones country track before.  Mick's exaggerated delivery makes it borderline parody (as opposed to "Emotional Rescue"'s full-blown parody).

I think Mick would prefer to be full-blown

Dude, you don't have Some Girls in your library?  Sacrilege!

and I don't think there's anything borderline about it either.

"Tomorrow's Stars"? sound like that "Idol" thang, 25 years ahead.  And it musta flopped, 'cause it didn't become a series on ABC.  But I guess "Star Search" kinda ripped it off.

WOS "Dreadlock Holiday", which I liked once upon a time.

The only Stones I own are Satanic Majesties and Flowers.  Oh, and a greatest-hits comp that someone left in my apartment lobby some months ago.  Not out of dislike, mind, just never made it a priority.

Did the sound just become suddenly brighter about a minute into "Runnin' On Empty" and then muffle again 15 seconds later, or are my ears popping?

Did anyone else's volume begin jumping around since the start of "Running On Empty"?

Hey it's my birthday twin David Gilmour!

Good thing I'm listening to KFOG on an actual radio, so far we 3 have either had problems with posting or streaming this morning.

all 3 of us doing hash at the same time -- who'd'a thunk it?

BTW I really like that very Floydian Gilmour tune KFOG has in heavy rotation.

I'm a nice guy, and you're a nice girl.  Beautiful, with or without cleavage, so what do you say.  Want to take a shower?

All over Colorado, and the bay area (and one guy in NYC), people are adjusting their headphones...

Glad it wasn't just me. I tuned in during ROE and had the volume spike and dip several times between then and the end of the set.
