have you been to boulder? aside from the zip code man, and the thursday night bikers, there isn't much action going on. nice for outdoorsey types, though.

It dawned on me that Dave never plays any of this NY-based CBGBs-era punk and New Wave because at the time he was immersed in disco.  A lot of this stuff just wasn't on his radar screen.

i think he just doesn't like it. i can't believe a dj of his caliber wouldn't come across entire genres at some point. someone would have introduced him to it. somewhere?
