Van the Man, "Natalia". BOS for novelty -- I don't think I've heard this on the radio since '78.
-
BOS2 Elvis C "Mystery Dance" -- technically '77, but I guess the LP was still charting in early '78.
-
OMG! Southside Johnny & the AJs! "Trapped Again". BOS3!
-
VHM Bob Weir, "Heaven Help the Fool", another one I haven't heard since it was current.

Is Dave planning a HFH set Friday?

VHM Mork and Mindy.
For Christmas I got the DVD set. Hysterical. Robin Williams was/is genius. My kids love it.

haven't heard it mentioned yet, but unless he wants to fly in the face of 23 years of tradition...

I submitted some Turkey requests that were not accepted as Turkeys so maybe I can get them into HFH.
Mr. Jaws
The Streak
Disco Duck (Will I EVER get him to play this?)
Convoy
-
BOS4 Mr Palmer, "Every Kinda People". Unfortunately there IS "profit in deceit," as BushCo have proven.
-
DAY-um! the whip's comin' down! "A gay in New York is just a fag in LA." Unless he's a cowboy in Wyoming...

I'm sure "Disco Duck" has been a HFH at least once. Dunno about the other 3.

There was another song that got airplay from that record called Bombs Away that was quite catchy--does that ring any bells for ya? (Don't think the Dead ever did either of them, but I remember hearing Bobby and the Midnights do both.)

I remember that song. But I sure seem to remember that LP as being released in '77 -- I can vividly picture it in my hands at my college radio station (and I left there in Sept '77). I didn't own the LP. It was on Arista, yes? And I'm not thinking of his LP Ace, which was '72.

I was going to say I thought you could be right, but AMG sez HHTF was released in 78. But it's possible you had an extremely early advance?
