The guitarist and namesake of the J. Geils Band, whose full name was John Warren Geils, was found dead in his home in Groton, Massachusetts. Authorities say their preliminary investigation shows he died of natural causes.

Damn, all the rockers I loved in my youth are dropping away. I know he hadn't played with the Geils band for years, but still, a hard one to take.
