Well, OK, we'll see. Listening now.

Enjoying the Offspring, even though "Pretty Fly for a White Guy" is pretty much the same song as "Come Out and Play".

Loreena McKennit (sp?) gets the BOS. I never heard her on the radio. It took 10 more years and RadioParadise for me to hear her music.

Yeah, that's a nice one. I recall KFOG played it at the time (or maybe just on Acoustic Sunrise). Rest of the set: nothing I really need to hear. No excuse for Kid Rock, ever.

You know a set is having trouble when "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It" is your runner-up for BOS. And listening to the backsell, DW was again nearly apologetic about having played the Kid Rock, so why? Just don't go there.

Love the song, though it was surprisingly a decent-sized CHR hit at the beginning of 1998 (and debuted on the Top 40 the same week as that Will Smith song):

I'm wondering if the album cut or the single was played. Definitely a left field hit, but also one of the era's highlights.

03/22:
On today’s edition of Soundwaves 10@10, we’ll hear a cover version of the song that helped launch MTV,
the actor who rode his hit film all the way up to #1 on the Billboard charts, and the song described as
“Lynyrd Skynyrd meets Run-D.M.C.” – and that was from the artist performing it.
It’s … 1998!
