BOS4 Elvis C "I Can't Stand Up..." from the superb Get Happy.
I have a very distinct memory of hanging out with a group of friends in People's Park in Berkeley on a Sunday afternoon right around this time of year in 1980, hearing this song, then going to see the Eagles at the Cow Palace that evening. People's Park was the better part of the day.
(The fact I can remember this is remarkable in itself; I'm sure we were pretty wrecked.)

And this was another bustout, it would appear. Amazing how few things we've heard from this LP across the DC/AL/RR/AL eras.

TANC: And now, an hour after the set, the Eagles "The Long Run" shows up on KFOG. What are the chances? (Pretty good, actually.)

Not quite -- it turned up in a set in 2010 and also once during the Renee period, in Oct. 2013. (Also a couple times as a bonus track during the Morey era.) But no less fabulous.

this really was quite impressive for a Monday. Let's hope the rest of the week is of a similar bent.

She seems to be on a bit of a hot streak lately, so here's hoping.

"don't hate me because I'm beautiful" --> B-52s! BOS2 "Gimme Back My Man"
I note the Korvettes reference -- you can take the girl out of New Jersey... (Incidentally,
Korvettes went bankrupt in 1980.)
