That was a clever "beginning and ending the set with 'captain' songs" thing. I've referenced those two songs in conjunction with each other in my book; nice to see I'm not alone in conflating them in my mind.

Peak player being wonky today -- so of course it starts working just in time for the uber-uber-LN "My Sharona". Which is followed by "Cruel to Be Kind".  Jeebus.

LN4: Cars, "Let's Go"  (Renee played "Best Friend's Girl" at 6:30 so I've had my Cars quotient for the week)
