I remember spreading out some of the "clues" about Paul McCartney, including Abbey Road album cover, on my parents bed, then trying to figure out if he was still alive...
Now I'm eight bits...

BOS3 (or maybe 4)--Ringo and the boyz (yay!), Octopus's Garden!

One of the Beatles' great kids songs!!

I'm amazed that Capitol, in all it's reissue mania, never put together a Beatles-for-kids package.

What else would you include?  My kids love "Yellow Subamrine" & "Help", for instance.

BOS4 Elvis, one of the greatest pop singles of all time.

Agreed. Am realizing that in 69, the trumpet was a hip instrument--featured prominently in both the RB Greaves and Elvis tunes, and probably lots of others. What year did Herb Alpert hit?

And while I'm here, VVHM to Undun--Randy Bachman takes his jazzy side for an early spin on the charts.
Let's get right to it.

anyone else think the arrangement on this Guess Who track presages the 'fake jazz' of BTO that Razsty loved so much?

ETA: I guess Urth already thought so.

I hear ya.  Very Blue Collar...Though this song is a lot better.  An excellent vocal performance, I'd say.

Piggies? Rocky Raccoon?  "Good Night" would make a nice album-closer.

"Oblidee Oblida", maybe?

"Piggies"? (the kids may not 'get' the lyrics until they're older- but it's a fun song)

"Happiness Is a Warm G..." No, wait...

"Birthday"?

I pretty much like seeing anything over Scarlett's bosom. Unless it obstructs my view of said bosom.
