Liostening to 'LNG -- it's blocked at work so this is a rare weekday treat. The Rascals, "Carry Me Back", which I surely have not heard on the radio in decades.

I'm listening to Radio de Sebb at home this afternoon.

It's a new DAY, babies! Sweet Lou tells JJ he a Natch'l man, y'alls.
LAWD! the Honey Cone are "Innocent 'Til Proven Guilty"!
And Gladys feels a song in her heart -- he makes her feel just like a WAH-mun!

oo! Young-Holt's "Soulful Strut" back-to-back with Barbara Acklin's vocal version, "Am I the Same Girl?".

listening again to that "Easy 93" station in Florida. Ms Lieberman introduces Miss Flack to Mr McLean. I heard he sang a good song...
and -- 2 songs later -- Don McLean appears with "Castles in the Air". The '80s re-do rather than the orig version, but still... nice.
And nobody does it better than Carly. Just ask JT (if he can remember).
and here's Jay & the Americans, "This Senior Moment". Now where are my glasses, dammit!
OMFG: Neil D turns on his "Heartlight" -- awww. I'll... be... riiiiight... heeeere.

Checked out "Easy 97.7" in Baltimore for a spell. Obscurity of the Day: Englebert's version of "There's a Kind of Hush". Had no idea he'd done that.
I'm off to Little Steven's garage for some wakey-wakey.
