I'll give a bos for Everything But the Girl, a group I never heard on the radio, but hear on RadioParadise now and then.

The mid-late 90's had a ton of this kind of "lite rock" female-led cooing. Hard to tell apart from "I'm lying on the floor and torn"...

BOS to EBTG, though it was the dance remix of "Missing" that I was hearing on the radio at the time.
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

Wow!  BOSFRA to the Jayhawks' "Blue," which I'm always trying to turn friends on to.  The Thorns did a nice job on this one years later.

Holy Toledo, BOS for a Jayhawks song I don't know.  They are great, shoulda been huge.

VHM EBTG...I heard the dance mix as well...that woulda gotten a BOS.

WOS to this annoying whiny droll Jayhawks song. (Didn't care much for the Thorns version either...sorry)

Did anyone actually buy this "Friends theme song" on an album or was it just everywhere on the radio? I assume this was a one-hit wonder.

BOS2 the Rembrandts -- nothing says '95 to me like the theme from Friends, a delightful pop dittty despite overexposure at the time.

It was tacked onto their LP iirc, and was only issued as a B-side of a single because it was indeed all over the radio.

Actually they had three others:

"Just The Way It Is, Baby"
"Johnny, Have You Seen Her"
"This House Is Not A Home"

BOS3 Supergrass, "Alright."  This is 16 years old?!  Yikes.  I adored it when it came out.  Some dipshit pop-rapper named Travie McCoy borrowed its refrain for a song a few months ago.
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

BOS Supergrass.  I remember seeing them at The Kennel Club.  I had a pot rice crispie treat and was a wreck for a week.
