Wow!  BOSFRA to the Jayhawks' "Blue," which I'm always trying to turn friends on to.  The Thorns did a nice job on this one years later.

Did anyone actually buy this "Friends theme song" on an album or was it just everywhere on the radio? I assume this was a one-hit wonder.

It was tacked onto their LP iirc, and was only issued as a B-side of a single because it was indeed all over the radio.
