"Love, Reign O'er Me" is a good start, capturing the mood under the circumstances. Ringo's "Photograph" also springs to mind from '73.

It's been a good morning all around (10@10-wise, that is). Dave hasn't done '73 since Aug 11th!
When this 'oo song came out, I thought it was a question: "Love? Rain? or Me?"

Yeah, I have a feeling this set is going to be a bit over the top. In a good way.

For years I thought it was "Love, Rain on Me." Fortunately I had not yet heard of "water sports."

Either that, or Dave acknowledging his late partner Mike. I hate to read too much into these things, but it's hard not to.

I give full credit to Dave for exposing me (!) to Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes. One day on 10@10 he played "Don't Leave Me This Way" and i was floored...
thanks, Dave!

That'd be swell, since I heard the One-Eyed Gott on the Kasemarathon this wknd.

Set warrants a 10-way-tie BOS, but I'm especially touched by "Harmony" as a set closer. "Gee, I really love you, and I wanna love you forever ..."
-
Hello, BOS3 Hello! "Harmony" sounds just lovely at this juncture.
-
One more for the BOS list: EJ, livin' in Harmony.
I couldn't narrow it down to one. Told Dave today was a 10-way tie.

nope: Jimmy still has to lurve Mary-Ann.

10-way JINX!! (Although it's a no-brainer...)
BUT WAIT!! One more song...Jimmy Loves MaryAnn!

Wow, I *really* lost count. Always glad to hear that - and now Barry White!
-
I've lost count!
You're not the only one, I guess. Big Barry runs his fingers thru Dave's , er, scalp.
-
I'll BOS Barry - love that song.
nice work, as usual, Dave!
-
Well, after work tonight, I'm heading to D.C. through Tuesday morning, so despite all of today's calamities, I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Anyone catch the bonus track? I didn't, and it's not up on the 10@10 page yet.

Annalisa's question: "Dave played a song by Barrence Eugene Carter. What's his real name?"
The weiner correctly answered "Barry White." To which Annalisa, said, "Yay! good job, you!" and giggled.
Annalisa gave her one choice: J. Geils' "Give It To Me" -- and then she mercifully played the song, putting us out of our misery if only for an few minutes (until the next time she air checked).

TC, you're incorrigible! But I'm LQTM anyway.

Yeah, I should ease up. Why the hate, right?
My gf mostly hates the KFOG jocks, and I spend a lot of time defending them to her, even though she's not always wrong (I cannot defend about 65% of the KFOG playlist, however).
Anyway, I think some of her venom has rubbed off on me and finds its way toward Annalisa. Let's face it: She plays good tunes, and it seems like she has great hair, so I'll focus on those qualities.
Also, I think I'm in a bad mood b/c of the Dave news.

Was just looking at the 10@10 page on KFOG's site. Remember when they would post the lists of the last 2 weeks worth of 10@10s? Well, that rule seems to have gone out the window. Right now there are sets on there dating back to August 25. 10@10 trainspotters everywhere rejoice!
