Does that make B.B. the King of Plumbing? I tried to find a funny image I once saw of a king logo for a plumbing company, but I didn't succeed...

Jeez people, give the old guys a break.  They may not be relevant or revolutionary any more, but they're doing what they love.  POC, you gonna stop playin' when you get old?

Happy BD, Eric.

I got in FB trouble for this too -- a friend who saw Crapton/Beck recently and raved was like "leave him alone!"  Hey, it's just us being snarky about an easy (and wealthy) target.

Mike, what is it about Eric Clapton that you don't like? He seems very inoffensive.

Should we have a separate topic for Happy Birthday Clapton for those of us who don't feel like slagging him?  I guess I'll just change my subject line instead.  There is no 10@10 hegemony on this topic.  We disagree strongly.  I am not a worshipper of EC, but his chops and place in history are undeniable, and no, I don't agree he hasn't done any good playing in the recent past, or at least what passes for my version of the recent past!

I don't know. But that's not the point. I still like everything Jeff Beck does...
