Yeah, one of those soul one-hits, First Choice!

Mike will be sorry to have missed "Armed and Extremely Dangerous."

Having heard it from JJ Sat nite, I'm not heartbroken -- but I'm looking forward to the replay; sounds like a fine effort all around
You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round

VHM2 to the good Doctor.

No predictions from me, though I hope we skip "All the Young Dudes."
<-- Let's keep it mostly soulful

I'd be fine with that. Not sure that Karn Evil 9 falls into that category. Nor does The Real Me, but I'm happy to hear it nonetheless!
Dig that bass line, go Ox!

Indeed--that and Moon's frenetic drumming are sending this one over the edge. This is the Who at their peak, imo.

Was able to pay a little more attention to the sound montage that Dave played leading into The Real Me tonight--I don't recall hearing those clips in that combination before, and over the bed of the waves that makes up the intro to TRM, leading up to Daltrey belting out "Can you see the Real Me?!? Can ya? CAN YA?!?" it made for a pretty well thought out segue. I missed the segue out of TRM into Brain Damage, tho--was going from the car to the house. But this on the whole is one of Dave's finer efforts.

Mama-ko, mama-sah, mama-makossa...

ETA: The only bustout of the set was E St. Shuffle, which definitely put it over the top for me, but even without it this would have been a stellar effort.

Let's get right to it.
