Indeed. When I saw that movie I jsut about fell on the floor during that scene. At my college radio station, that particular mondegreen was a source of MAJOR debate. There was a "movin' in" faction and a "the linen" faction.

I always assumed it was slightly derogatory, as in "you mean it took FOUR people to write THAT?"

You probably heard Angie Stone's "Wish I Didn't Miss You Anymore." Major club hit two years ago; I thought the sample was heavy-laden but effective.

MBNA, the credit card people. I didn't understand the commercial but it was fun watching Ms. Knight run for the endzone as if she were in Vegas running to the last open Baccarat table.
