Tina Turner's sadly forgotten "Typical Male" appears at 19: a #2 hit, it doesn't appear on her forthcoming (yet another) GH comp.

Here's one I haven't heard since it was on the charts: Billy Ocean, "Love Zone."  He ran off a string of ballads around this time that were all nice and are now all forgotten.

Casey tells a good story about how Carl Anderson landed the Judas role in JCS, before playing him and Gloria Loring (first time I heard this song, it was on the radio, and I initially misunderstood her name to be Glory Alluring!) on "Friends & Lovers."

And totally agreed on the Tina Turner -- one of her best post-comeback singles IMHO.

it happened a LOT. (See: Sly, First Class...)

Glad you're digging this and it's amazing how many NTMs you're getting -- the APP Edgar Allen Poe LP was quite good, but on 20th Century Records it could only go so far. But it made Clive Davis prick up his ears and the rest is history.
