I've always loved the lyrics to that one.  "You asked for the truth and I told you" is the best response a countercultural personality can give the culture.

Sorry, 1990's not compelling me to multitask today...


I know it was Gary Moore, I usually comment on the irony of a white rocker from Thin Lizzy having the all-time best-selling blues album when this gets played, and was alluding to that.

Concrete Blonde also not compelling today.

But I haven't figured out where the setlists from KINK can be found, can you put that up later?

The Sundays "Here's Where the Story Ends" BOS #2, someone named Greg Caruthers I'd never heard of, then wrapping up with Black Crowes.

apparently missed World Party & The La's also.

Pretty good set for 1990, but not even worth comparing to 1970.

That dates all the way back to 1990?!  I didn't hear it until the mid '90s and at the time mistakenly thought it was the Cranberries for quite a long time.

Let's not forget, for the umpteenth time, that Gary is playing Peter Green's Legendary Les Paul on that track (whole album dedicated to PG) and Green is considered one of the best blues guitar players of any color.  Or, cue the scene from The Commitments, when the big guy gives that famous "say it loud, I'm black and I'm proud!" speech.
