all stellar, IMHO, esp The Independents tune.
Pet Peeve: people who request an artist we heard today for tomorrow's set. After AL played Carly S today, why would you expect "You're so Vain" tomorrow? I also wonder why some of those folks don't just listen to Oldies 103.7
-
Occurred to me after I went to bed that today is the 100th birthday of Billie Holiday -- Miss Ross' "Good Morning Heartache" would be most appropriate.
ETA: I posted the above on AL's thread and she "like"d it and made a nice comment so perhaps she had it in mind?

OK, I'm here but they're threatening us with a fire drill so I may have to miss part of this. If I miss a bustout I'll be pissed. Meanwhile I'm hearing "Budapest" for the 3,267,499th time.

Ann Peebles "I Can't Stand The Rain"
A great song, but in the framework of 10@10 it strikes me as a bit of a FF. BOS so far to Ike & Tina.

-
Raspberries "Tonight"

I think this and Nutbush are getting my BOS votes for the day. Not a bad set, just not as deep as I'd hoped for.

yeah, nothing really new here. I guess you can't spring a NTM nugget into every 10at10 set.
I'll BOS Raspberries, Ike & Tina and Ann Peebles
