1 Jan 2008--it's 1984
« on: January 01, 2008, 10:30:07 PM »
Just tuned in to see of there was a "replay" tonight, and lo and behold, there is--1984. Just heard the Van Halen Jump followed hot on its heels by the so-much-better Aztec Camera cover of same. And now...The Cars. Drive.
Let's get right to it.

And now it's proxy of 'Shray for Nena's 99 Luftballons--the German version.

Btw, this one's not in the Shraytabase--the Aztec Camera tune would be a bustout.

I thought I was listening this AM to different stuff; did I miss 10@10?

There was no set in the morning; Rosalie did a New Year's Acoustic Sunrise from 6 to 11.

That's what I thought, maybe I dozed off.  Kind of odd, but maybe there's a lot of people who do 10@10 PM-style?

I'm guessing quite a few -- esp those unable to listen to music at work. (I was in that unhappy bunch back when they first started doing the PM versuion -- can it be over 12 years ago? -- and was quite thrilled at the time).
