At least it's one of the livelier songs, "The Sidewinder Sleeps Tonight".

Too bad Dave won't expand his rap collection.  We could hear Positive K's "I Got a Man" or MC Brains' "Oochie Coochie" or Paperboy's "Ditty" and I'd be having a lot more fun right now.

She does seem to have a thing for young, pretty rock stars--anyone ever compile a list of her conquests? Pirner was the first, but since then I could name Rhett Miller, Ryan Adams, and Colin Oberst just off the top of my head, and I'm sure there are more.

My friend Dave* thought he was in love with Winona Ryder for years.  Then one day he suddenly realized that he was in fact in love with Winona's character in Beetlejuice and that Winona herself was in fact a slag.

and probably my BOS unless we get some Neil from Harvest Moon. Or Tina's "I Don't Wanna Fight" which is most unlikely.

WOS to "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," a debacle of a policy that pleased no one (though I won't condemn the entire Clinton presidency on its account).

Not getting the segue from that into Annie's "Little Bird," though.  "Why" would have made more sense.

WOS-Fields of Gold. Insipid, insipid, insipid. At the time this was out, I was trying to woo a girl who just LOVED Sting, so I heard this even more than I would have otherwise. She turned out to be a waste of time, which I should have recognized when her musical taste became apparent.

just guessin' but I suppose Gaz is glad he reserved hiw WOS vote until the Sting song came on.

If you ever hear Eva Cassidy's version, which is awesome, in contrast Sting's vocal workout here sounds very flat.

I think it's too bad that this is the only Toad song you get to hear on KFOG.  It's kind of become a Katrina even in the regular rotation.
