"Everything is Broken" a pretty good start.  But, I'm not optimistic for the future.

I was thinking earlier -- dare Dave do the third theme set in 4 days? So he gets to have it both way... a year AND a theme, sorta.

Man the Katrinas, full speed ahead.  FYC sooner or later.

HM Terrifying. The one moderately decent song that I can recall from an otherwise lousy Stones record. Anyone else see them in Oakland a few weeks after the quake? Not their best, but Bill Wyman's swan song.
Let's get right to it.

I know we've run this into the ground, but a couple of fun upbeat pop hits (BESIDES Fine Young Katrinnibles) from this year would make everything else bearable. Neneh Cherry? Young MC? Was/Not Was? Bee Gees? Macca? I'd even tolerate Paula Abdul...

"Bad Love"

One of the most tasteful guitar solos of the 80's.

Or Funky Cold Medina?

(Was it ever explained exactly what a "medina" is, and why it's funky or cold?)

HM Roy Orbison- or at least to this person who I think is Roy. If it's not Roy I guess it could br Chris Issak. But, I'm thinking Roy.
