AL did a 5-decade week within past year, I recall Mike pointing it out to AL.  Still, glad its '69 on a Friday.

Yeah, it's happened several times -- and with all "new" sets too (unlike this week which began with a repeat). But always a welcome happenstance.

the only time 10@10 was interrupted for news was when dave & Peter cut in about the gay Marriage ruling that (briefly) made it legal.

It's kind of like the day of the Challenger tragedy... the only time school was interrupted with news of an outside event. For me, anyway.

This made me wonder...would I notice a salivary gland tumor? Hard to scan everything for cancer, but your point is well taken.

I got no problem with either of those, though I wonder if Pete regrets having written the line "gonna rape you". I kinda regret hearing it. It doesn't even rhyme.

It's kind of like the day of the Challenger tragedy... the only time school was interrupted with news of an outside event. For me, anyway.

I remember I was in gym class in Jr. High when they announce LBJ had died.  And that we got the next day off school in remembrance.  Best dead president ever!
