Be Bop Deluxe's Main In Heaven makes an appearance on www.offshoremusicradio.com
*applause*

Best Birthday present: while I was off they upgraded my work PC, meaning I can now listen to the Drive again -- and the Sound as well! Woo Hoo!
ETA: oops, spoke too soon. The Drive & the Sound still don't work at work. But Radio de la Sebb is accessible again.

a Monkees twin-spin (sorta): the boys doing the Kellogg's jingle, followed by the fantabulous "She".
-
socially relevant twin-spin on Offshore: Kenny Rogers "Tell it All Brother", followed by Joe South, "Games People Play"
-
Dark Shadows flashback: Offshore unearths the Charles Randolph Grean Sounde, "Quentin's Theme". Roller-rink organ never sounded so sweet.
-
NTM from JJ: Bill Cosby doing a James Brown parody -- "I Love Myself Better Than I Love Myself". Well, it's funnier than his awful Barry White send-up.

What's the BW send-up?

Surely you've heard "Yes... Yes... Yes" at some point? If not, consider yourself lucky.

wow: Barry Scott plays Nigel Olsson's remake of "A Little Bit Of Soap" from '79; yet another of the many "What a Fool Believes" soundalikes from that era. I surely have not heard it since then.
-
another delight from Mr Scott: Donny Osmond's faithful cover of "C'mon Marianne", one of my faves from his post-puberty period.
-
TANC: Barry spins Jermaine's "Lets Get Serious", which we heard on Casey's '80s this AM.
