Yay!
"My Back Pages", the Byrds. A lovely way to start.
-
"White Rabbit," an even lovelier way to continue. :)
-
"White Gazzbit"! and Robert Plant is nowhere in sight
-
BOS Donovan! looking thru crystal spect-tickles!
-
BOS2 Hollies "Pay You back With Interest". A fine and underrated body of work for sure.
-
My first time ever hearing "Pay You Back With Interest." Groovy!
Maybe someday I'll finally hear "King Midas in Reverse."
-
Yay for the Grass Roots! Puzzling lyric of set: "I got to feel you deep inside of me."

I think this gets my BOS. I need something to calm me down, got an email from my erstwhile boss in Taiwan that really pissed me off.
Grrrrrr!

VHM M&T. what was she, like, 17 when they recorded this one?

Maybe this blue-eyed cover of "Hold On! I'm-a Comin'" will do the trick. Or just breathe deep and sing "You're Not the Boss of Me Now" under your breath.
-
"Hold On, I'm... White?" A local Chicago band, I'm assuming. The Cryin 'Shames? New to me.
-
now THIS is blue-eyed soul. "Groovin'" indeed!
-
Happy Jack wasn't tall but he was a Hummer commercial.
-
BOS3 JB! "Cold Sweat" Ungh! Maceo!
-
the Maudes? That was anything but tranquilizin'...
and a very short set, sadly. I want 10 more!
-
"Tomorrow we take a journey into 1978"
hmmmm, think we'll be hearing anything from Journey?
-

Now this is waht I need to calm me down: Deep Tracks is playing the Moodies "Om". Transcendental meditation, oh yeah. Flutes & Sitars. Very relaxing.

It was JB's "Cold Sweat." I know, I get the two confused all the time too.

My first time ever hearing "Pay You Back With Interest." Groovy!
Maybe someday I'll finally hear "King Midas in Reverse."
there are some fine Hollies anthols around.
I got this one, simply because it had pretty much all the hits I could think of on one disc (from the 60s anyway--no Long Cool Woman or Air That I Breathe).

I should still probably go find a box or multi-disc set that's more comprehensive, but this is working fine in the meantime.

Yeah, if I'm gonna bother buying Hollies, it *has* to have "He Ain't Heavy," "Long Dark Road," and "Air That I Breathe."

what about "Dear Eloise?"

what about "Dear Eloise?"
I don't know that one. What am I missing? A harmony vehicle?

It was a Graham Nash song, and I remember seeing it on TV. It was all very melodramatic, as he was at a writing desk, quill in hand, singing his heart out.
