So far pretty good. Harrison (Cloud 9), Zevon (Sentimental Hygiene), Replacements (Can't Hardly Wait), and Jane's still Getting Serious (and one other I'm spacing on).

Also a great movie clip from Roxanne: Steve Martin verbally flaying a couple of doofs in a bar who chose to make light of his nasal equipment.

And now XTC's sublime Summer's Cauldron (although Ginger announced it as Grass).
Let's get right to it.

the other tune was John Hiatt, iirc.

in the bar scene it was only one doof, on the sidewalk it was a couple of doofs that he engaged in tennis racktet swordplay & one of them was SNL's Kevin Nealon.

ETA: Ginger wasn't in error, she is giving us a twin-spin, "Summer's Cauldron" + "Grass", tracks 1 & 2 on Skylarking.

DAMN! "Sentimental Hygiene" -- another great LP that's totally not on Dave's limited '87 menu.
You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round
