GCSS was fab -- but I love that promo they just played for their "greatest #2's" countdown next week. Ultravox's "Vienna" was kept out of the #1 spot by -- "Shaddap You Face"! ROTFL!

P.S. The greatest #2 in England was Pulp's "Common People," held out of the #1 slot by some slimey limeys called Robson & Jerome.

I adore his voice. Dave's is better but his is good, and British.

"Ride the Wild Surf" rules -- the song and the movie (which is maybe the best teen beach movie ever).

Alas, I did. His original, or the Marc Almond remake?
And who was the Norman Whitfield ripoff?

And who was the Norman Whitfield ripoff?
The original, part of CG's Mike Sweeney Sat Nite '60s show. The Whitfield thing was a VERY long cover of Bill Withers' "Who Is He And What Is He To You?" (so long Greg only played half of it, he said) by a group called Creative... something. Creative Choice? Never heard of 'em before.
