VHM to Neil Young channeling the Tragically Hip.  His rocking song are much better than the slow droning ones (tho "Bandit" wasn't bad), I wonder why he doesn't do that more...or maybe it was just radio that didn't play more.  She's played this one a few times too, but I think it's been awhile.

Yecch...do we really need two Live 105 both then-and-now-overplays in a row?
I liked this Oasis song once upon a time too...then every station decided to run it into the ground...and bury it...and then bury it some more...

heh, my 95 music knowledge seems so lacking that I appreciate its familiarity.

BOS Stone Roses

WOS to song #2 and the insipid lyric "I miss you like the desert misses the rain."

huh?  Deserts don't miss the rain, they do just well without it.  It's called an ecosystem, lady.
HAHAHAHA!  Never cared for this tune, either.

I'll have to BOS Stone Roses. Overall set was a 50/50 mix of songs mostly new to me (Jayhawks) and those way overplayed (EBTG, Oasis, Garbage). Hey, I'll go with new songs that are not especially enticing over played out mush any day.

This set sounds like a big ol' chunk of Live 105 (or its Sacto counterpart, KWOD) to my ears. Sorry I missed the Jayhawks--they were big on my 1995 playlist. BOS to Blue and the Stone Roses, VHM for Champagne Super-nover and Sick of Myself.
Let's get right to it.

KWOD was like a super-awesome version of Live 105. A curse on whoever decided to change their format to whatever it is now.

At least Sacto has KKDO now, which is still an awesome (although not a "super"-ly so) version of Live 105.

Belated BOSes for tunes 5-9, especially the Stone Roses, who I played to death that whole year.  Sure wish they'd stuck around.
