And again Dave follows Ginger's lead.

Ginger played the Jerry band, Dave counters with GD, I Need a Miracle. Point Ginger.

BOS Ramones, "Rock-rock-rockaway Beach" -- does this beat Devo's "Satisfaction"?  pretty close IMHO.

Tough call, indeed.

"Respectable" gets most representative of set.  I remember this one, and it really sounds like 78.  To me.

Note that this is less than 3 weeks since our last '78 set -- in fact it's our THIRD visit to this year in a month!

BOS2 to the easiest lay on the White House Lawn (he's singing about Margaret Trudeau, no?)

BOS4 It's a Laugh--now I gotta think this is a bustout. Heavy Todd influence, still great to hear.

If he's played it before it was long ago.  Damn this sounds great.  Recently picked up a superb 2-CD H&O best-of (virtually every charted single plus a couple LP cuts) and it rules.

And another tip o' the hat for the Wonder Woman theme--Dave's taking Ginger to the mat for this one--not giving up anything.

I'll defer to you on that then, but it's beyond my recollection.

Dave's def. going for all the marbles with Home and Dry--another fave. Mshray's gonna be glued to the replay tonight.

Bruce blows 'em all out!  I've always been really keen on the 16-note riff through the whole beginning.  So much energy!

No big thrills here, but that's personal preference. But there's no denying that Pablo was huge in '78, at least around these parts.

Strong, strong set overall--wish I was going to be home tonight to put it to disc, but I'll be at Cafe du Nord for the Pernice Brothers. Will have to try for Saturday.

And sounds even better on the replay. What a wonderful single.  I saw H&O around the time this LP came out (late '78), at the Palladium in NYC.  Opening act: City Boy, just as "5-7-0-5" was peaking.
