Thur 1/24/13: 1973

"Higher Ground", "D'yer Mak'er", "Kodachrome" to start. All various shades of LN.

As is "Time" by the Pinko Floyds. Ditto the 'oo, "The Real Me".

Woulda made sense to play "Photograph" back-to-back with "Kodachrome", no?  VHM Ringo -- and Richard Perry. A career peak for both.

Sknyrd takes 3 steps. Ah said "Excuse".

EJ: croc rock makes his cock rock.

BOS "Free Ride", best of a mostly-overexposed lot today.  This was straight off the DC/RR template.

Oy: Bob plays Orleans' "Dance With Me" in '73, as he so often annoyingly does.

Stevie Wonder - Higher Ground
Led Zeppelin - D'yer Mak'er
Paul Simon - Kodachrome
Pink Floyd - Time
The Who - The Real Me
Ringo Starr - Photograph
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Gimme Three Steps
Elton John - Crocodile Rock
Edgar Winter - Free Ride
Orleans - Dance With me

Fri 1/25/13: 1967!

"Sgt Pepper/With a Little Help..." is a pretty LN-ish way to start.

Mr Mojo Risin' breaks on thru -- VHM for playing the "she gets high" version.

Now dig this, baby: much as I love Jimi I have to LN "Fire".

VHM Every Mother's Son, rockin' on the dock

what number is this Jim?  "7-A!!!"

BOS the fantabulous Hollies with the wonderful "Carrie Anne"

BOS2 the Byrds doing Dylan

uber-uber-uber-LN Cream.  Take yer dried-up seed and skedaddle, Crapton.

BOS3 Kal-Kan dog food commercial -- they really know how to pack their meat! So does RuPaul.

VHM Traffic, tho' "Mr Fantasy" is borderline LN.

yes-yes-yes to no-no-no: BOS4 the Human Be-Inz.

Beatles - Sgt. Pepper/With A Little Help From My Friends
Doors - Break On Through (To The Other Side)
Jimi Hendrix Experience - Fire
Every Mother's Son - Come And Take A Ride In My Boat
Monkees - Daydream Believer
Hollies - Carrie-Anne
Byrds - My Back Pages
Cream - Sunshine Of Your Love
Traffic - Dear Mr. Fantasy
Human Beinz - Nobody But Me
