Well, I've always got the below audio from 5 years ago today, thanks to Dave Morey.

Love Canal -> Love Stinks (all following Tunnel of Love).

Is Renee starting to do patterns? If so, this is a welcome change, even if this particular combo was already done by Morey or Annaliza.

Still a fun song and an epic video.

'As John Lydon once said, everything's "ho ho chortle chortle" with Branson, isn't it? Jolly japes.'

HM: U2 and Big Head Todd

Caveat: rose colored hindsight glasses fully engaged

Ugh, "Elderly Woman" from Pearl Jam. As I say on every set that this album comes up on, there are some excellent songs from it like Rearviewmirror, Animal, and Dissident. None of them make it to 10@10.

Zooropa gets a nod for at least being different. In retrospect, I think U2 was shooting for what Radiohead later did with OK Computer but they didn't have the intelligence to pull it off. So disappointing after Achtung Baby.

Cherub Rock gets a BOS, though again, I'd choose another song from this album (just not "Today")

Ugh, "Perfectly Good Guitar" is way more boring than Big Head Todd. This is a by-the-numbers chord progression and lyrics that are hilariously unoffensive.

"Hey there, uh sir, um, please don't smash that guitar or I will report you to the constable"

You'll have to give me a schmaltz pass. Just went to my 20 year reunion, so a 1993 set is kind of apropos.

I'm digging Orbit. But the beat was so overused in the early 90's. Enigma, etc.

Ah, and Big Head Todd next. This was a good album despite what some of you think of the band as a whole.

Seems long. I love Cracker but this song is a bit of a snooze.

Got a tattoo in Berlin
(and a case of the crabs).
A rose and a dagger
on the palm of my hand.
And I'll search the world over
for my angel in black.
Yeah, I'll search the world over
for a Eurotrash Girl.

Other, better tracks from Pearl Jam "Versus":

* Dissident: stick to your morals or cave in?
* Rearviewmirror: one of the best breakup songs ever

This would be more fun if we got to put together our own list.

Listening to the replay. I like the Peter Gabriel (well Afro Celt) and Zero 7 tracks.

The term for what you hate about Nickelback is "yarling". It's when you use a long, affected "R" sound under every word.

Enjoy, and feel free to comment!

Wow, neat stuff! You're really showing what this could be instead of just complaining about it. You get my vote.

One problem with your editing is too much fade/dead space between the end of the song and the clips. It would be better to overlap them more.

BOS The Jags and Eddie Rabbitt. A record *NO* LNs.
