Rowan Bros -- "Move On Down". New to me, but hey, it had a Mt. Tam reference in the lyrics.

Last year at the Morning Show's local appearance in Redwood City these guys were the live act that Ali & I saw.  Apparently they used to open for the Dead back in the early 70's.

a VERY nice segue from the Beatles "Long Long Long" into the Kinks' "RnR Fantasy".

and now Ms Ronstadt's gorgeous, steel-guitar-tinged cover of "Tracks of My Tears"

I love VIP. And I love CG. And WLNG too. And we know how I lurves mah KPOO. But I can't think of another station that makes me consistently scream "OMFG!" as often as this one does. Just amazing. I hope Mr Millionaire never runs out of money.

Television!  loved by critics and pretty much avoided by most radio stations back in the day.
