HM3 to this Zep song that might be "Misty Mountain Hop" but I'm not sure.  It's one of the few LZ songs that I'll stop what I'm doing to listen to.  Was that an electric piano playing the riff to kick off the song?

I got to go with Jonathan Edwards for my BOS today.  Jsut hte kind of song I needed to hear to day with my CEO & 2 other VIP's lurking around my office for the next 2 days.

"He can't even run his own life, I'l be DAMNED if he'll run mine."
"Music is the Earth, People are the Flowers, and I am the Hose."

Well DO ya...  PUNK!?!

ooo! BOS2 Dennis Coffey and his Detroit Guitar Band! "Scorpio", baby!

have we ever compiled the Zodiac Set?

"Aquarius"
"Son of Saggitarius"
etc

That would require some stretches:

Supremes, "No Matter What Sign You Are"

Frank Zappa's making-fun-of-disco-cokeheads song that goes, "Let me guess: You're a Libra."
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

Something wrong with my speakers at home here.  I don't have time to trouble shoot too much, but I can't hear the set.     If the new damned cat has done something to my wires, I'll be  :x

Is your quote refering to the cat?

VHM to Dennis Coffey, "Scorpio."  Very clever, Bob!

ETA: I've never heard the follow-up, "Taurus."  A soundalike?

Oh my yes. As I think we've discussed before, the album was 12 instrumentals all named after signs of the Zodiac.  "A very important album in it's time."

Rudy Ray Moore's "Zodiac" album:

(I can't post the images here, which may be for the best.  He illustrates what Leon Haywood would later describe in "I Wanta Do Something Freaky Ta You" as "all 12 positions of the zodiac sign," a sort of astrological kama sutra.)

Loved the use of scare-quotes here, btw.

No, though it is a huge cat.  The quote refers to my avatar.

Yeah, but I thought the phrase had moved into the mainstream.

More to the point of tonight's concert, I wonder if he'd ever play something from Kantner & Slick's "Sunfighter."

You've got to be kidding!
